Ninth Annual Boat Building Festival

July 13, 14 and 15, 2012 at Back Cove at Preble

About the Boat Building Festival - In this popular annual fundraiser, families, friends and co-workers experience hands-on boat building with the help of professional boat builders. Over two-and-a-half days, up to 20 teams of five people each build a 12-foot Bevins Skiff under a tent at Back Cove near Preble Street. NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. Registration fees cover all tools, materials and professional instruction. After an exciting launch celebration at East End Beach, teams return home with their very own skiff.
